Due date to interface Aadhaar with ledgers reached out till March 31



New Delhi: The due date to interface the Aadhaar number with ledgers has been reached out by three months till March 31, the administration reported on Wednesday, as the Supreme Court is set to initiate got notification from Thursday on its obligatory connecting to different plans.

The due date was before December 31 for connecting the 12-digit novel distinguishing proof number with both Permanent Account Number (PAN) and financial balances. Be that as it may, the administration broadened the due date a week ago to link it with PAN till March 31.

The discharge said under the arrangements of Prevention of Money-laundering (Maintenance of Records) Second Amendment Rules, 2017, it was given that if a customer as of now having a financial balance or some other record based association with revealing substances before date of this warning neglects to present the Aadhaar number and PAN by December 31, "the said account might stop to be operational till the time the Aadhaar number and PAN is put together by the customer".
